Caoilfhionn Connolly, MD

  • Medical School: NUI Galway School of Medicine
  • Residency: Johns Hopkins University
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: I enjoy the Harbor East area. It has great amenities, a beautiful waterside walkway, and a vibrant restaurant scene. 

Abin Puravath, MD

  • Medical School: Texas A&M University College of Medicine
  • Residency: McGovern Medical School UTH Health Science Center
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Ekiben restaurant is a real gem. Fantastic food at great prices. 

Rachel Wallwork, MD

  • Medical School: Harvard Medical School
  • Residency: Massachusetts General Hospital
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Canton Square is one of my favorite areas in Baltimore, and there is a wonderful bakery and coffee shop called Café Dear Leon. 

2nd Year Fellows

Rebecca Baum, MD

  • Medical School: University of Massachusetts Medical School
  • Residency: University of Washington Seattle
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: I like Di Pasquale’s Marketplace in Baltimore, but I also love living in Clarksville, which is a beautiful location between Baltimore and DC, since I also enjoy going to DC on the weekends.  

Kamini Kuchinad, MD

  • Medical School: Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
  • Residency: Johns Hopkins Bayview Internal Medicine
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Bramble Bakes is one of my favorite bakeries in Baltimore. Plus, it’s in a cute neighborhood called Lauraville where there are tons of cute boutiques, coffee shops and bookstores. It’s a great place to esacape on a weekend morning.  

Brandon Law, MD

  • Medical School: Harvard Medical School
  • Residency: Johns Hopkins Hospital
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Paw Point Dog park is great for relaxing on a weekend morning with my Australian Shepard, followed by a Full English Breakfast and latte at Corner Pantry. 

James Topilow, MD

  • Medical School: Georgetown University School of Medicine
  • Residency: UVA
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Patterson Park.  It’s a huge green space in the middle of the city with a plethora of random festivals.

Michael Cammarata, MD

  • Medical School: Eastern Virginia Medical School
  • Residency: University of California, San Francisco
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Allora Restaurant.  This is a great Italian place with a rotating menu in a homey setting.  

Timothy Kaniecki, MD

  • Medical School: Saint Louis University School of Medicine
  • Residency: Johns Hopkins University
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Clavel restaurant. This is a fun Mexican restaurant with great food, drinks and amazing atmosphere. 

Kristen Mathias, MD

  • Medical School: Baylor College of Medicine
  • Residency: University of Chicago
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: My favorite spot is the Charles Theater- a charming theater that showcases independent  films and is close to a variety of local restaurants that highlight the wide-ranging palate of Baltimore.  

Emily Molina, MD

  • Medical School: Texas A&M College of Medicine
  • Residency: Johns Hopkins University
  • Favorite Baltimore spot: Druid Hill Park. It has wonderful facilities including a meditation center, tennis courts and great trails for hiking and biking.
